Weddings and Civil Ceremonies
Whether your Special Day is a formal affair or a small family occasion I can make it the extra bit special by adding a touch of class.
I will meet you prior to the event to discuss your needs to ensure your day is
all
you dreamed of. Liaise with your photographer, caterers, DJ or Live
Band and venue to ensure everyone works together prior to the event.
On the day I will manage the running of the event. My efficient yet unobtrusive
nature
will ensure everything is in place, allowing you to spend your time where it
matters, with your new partner and guests.
Depending on your needs these are just some of the duties I can perform:
- Greet and direct your guests
- Assist the photographer with organising the group photographs
- Ensure a timely departure from the service to the Wedding Breakfast
- Support and advise speach makers on etiquette and address
At the Wedding Breakfast a
degree of formality is generally called on, I can:
- Introduce your guests as they enter the Banqueting room or
- Seat your guests
- Formally announce the top table
- Introduce any speakers
- Say Grace
- Seamlessly announce the speachmakers
- Utilse the art of Sabrage to enhance the toasts
- Announce the cutting of the Wedding Cake (a ceremonial Sword can be provided for this purpose)
- Handle any other special requests or issues that arise
The Evening event is generally more relaxed, however our service here can include announcing:
- The first dance
- The throwing of the bouquet
- The departure of the wedding party
